This is my first attempt at a wiki. I hope to take this all the way, but I am open to other platforms that might be more useful for different markets and target audiences.
I've been submitting some of my articles to various article directories recently. So I thought I'd use that as an exercise to see how different my wiki experience can be as opposed to doing it the 'normal' way. I'm starting by putting up the articles that I have submitted to the directories here.
One of the things my Malaysian corporate clients asked when considering a wiki tool for their knowledge-base initiative was its 'security'. One of the first properties I learnt about a wiki was it's 'open-ness' and 'changeability'. This is great for those modules that demand constant updating for up-to-the-minute kind of dynamic information that a growing organization needs. But at the same time, organizations don't want everything subject to change or maybe even vandalism. Some things they need written in stone; it's okay to put it up on the community board for everyone to read and know, but they don't want their notices defaced, let alone 'adjusted'; unless done by 'team members' with relevant permission.
If everything goes well here, I'm going to bring in some team members who are in charge of my various other projects and get their opinions on this wiki platform as well.
So cheers to the wikisphere!

In the footer of all the pages of this wiki is a link to the complete notation guide for the wiki. It will answer a lot of questions. Right click it, open it in a new window for easy reference.

Since I started uploading some stuff since a few minutes ago, I found that for each entry, I am able to define its accessibility to different people. Okay, this is good. On-going thoughts: still can't find a way to define line spacing esp for before/after paragraph.

This is my comment to an earlier comment. This I like. Better than Blogger's. I asked Blogger for a 'threading' effect for the 'comments' and found that others had been asking for the same thing. Apparently, it couldn't be done 'yet'.

Spacing before / after paragraph? Please give more detail what you'd like to do.

Can someone tell me how I can control the "Page Add"s of my articles to go under my Articles "directory"? Or if already added elsewhere, how I can 'take' those article pages and 'move' or 'place' them under the Articles directory? I would appreciate this. Thks.

When you click edit on an article, below the article title is a location. You can click on an edit button there to change the parent of the article.

Another cool feature of this system: You can export a selection of the pages from your space to PDF. Do this from Browse Space -> Advanced -> Export Space.
