Managing HR using Corporate Astrology
By Ashutosh Agnihotri

Businesses have structure and corporate values, and organizations want to be known as people organizations. For so long as people are the hub around which crucial business processes revolve, astrology becomes a powerful pointer to success. Unfortunately, corporate astrology and its cross-measurement matrix can be technically complex. So in this article, I share the working principles that I have used successfully in guiding organizations of all sizes, local and foreign.

Astrological dictums indicate that at the center of business success is right chemistry. Success can only be achieved when things flow in unison. This rule of Affinities is a constant in astrology. In this case, affinity among employees, between the employee and the organization, and even between the directors and the nature of the business; only this web of success potentials shared between the essence of all the components can give organizational success. Not just a single strong personality and not just the force of a single horoscope.

In considering an employee, HR should first consider the career profile of the potential candidate. This is part of the big picture. One of the top priorities is to consider his 'personal line' for career success. The more the similarity with the profile of the organization's own horoscope, the greater his contribution can be. If the organization is more service based, then he should have a similar aptitude in his horoscopic career profile. If it is a product manufacturer, then he should have that kind of similar career matrix in his horoscope. But it cannot be more powerful than the organization's. If so, he can eventually become a competitor to the organization.

The career cycles of the candidate should also be compatible with that of the organization's. Crucial milestones of the company's growth should coincide with some rising cycles of the candidate and vice versa. Common sense should prevail. It is crucial that the use of horoscopic management should also include respect for the gratification of the employee. For instance, a launch of an exciting product should not just coincide with the auspicities of the organization's horoscope, but also with that of the employees', especially with the team leaders. This consideration will reap both material and spiritual rewards for the organization.

This is the best form of horoscopic partnering between the work culture and the business vision of the organization. Tracking the timing transits and progressions over his career's horoscopic variables as it relates to the organization's growth needs is a basic procedure that can save the organization millions of dollars. A shortcut therefore, is to consider at the outset the 'when' of his career moves and changes; especially if it is related to the organization's own growth or if it is a 'fatal attraction' with a competitor that threatens to take him away. This probability assessment using astrology cannot be matched by any other model, and can save investment dollars tremendously.
