Nancy Reagan was quoted as saying" Just say No!" in reference to the use of illegal drugs (while sipping a martini). The average guy now has to just say "no" when it comes to wanting to move to a new(er) house and become saddled with debt that may be impossible to pay. Everybody wants to have something bigger and better. Look at the restaurant situation. Restaurants have become theater, not places to eat. And with correspondingly high prices. Practice some of the tenets of Buddhism. Suffering is caused by desire-- eliminate desire and one can eliminate suffering. Now please excuse me, I hear my kid's $400 (+tax) I-pod ringing and it may be an important call that requires answering. Its not easy being a parent, driving a large SUV, sipping a latte grande , answering an I-phone and worrying about this years overseas vacation let alone new togs for the kids and wife.
