Saw a link ot a website advertising three simple movements to increase Testosterone, that a lack of testosterone is what causes gonadopause. Curious if this was a real term, I looked it up, and sure enough it is a real term. So I wanted to do some research to see if I could find any information about it.

- Postprandial testosterone concentrations have been shown to significantly decrease after a fat-rich meal, which may be due to inhibition of testosterone production by chylomicrons. We examined the effects of a high-fat diet known to reduce postprandial chylomicrons on the testosterone response to a fat-rich meal. abstract link

- Previous research has consistently shown increasesin serum testosterone concentration following acute re-sistance exercise

- Page 28: Chapter 1 pointed out that the endocrine system is important to the repair process because its anabolic hormones send signals to build muscle (testosterone and growth hormone) and fight inflammation (cortisol). But to produce such physiological signals that tell the body to increase the size and density of muscle and bone takes time, and thus training adaptations can take months to achieve.
- Page 15: During puberty testicular testosterone secretion in boys is associated with considerable increases in fat-free mass (e.h. muscle and bone) and hormonal influences on muscle hypertrophy become possible. Training-inducded strength gains during and after puberty in boys may therfore be assocated with dramatic changes in hypertrophic factors. Testosterone surges not only develop the young boy into a man, it also enhances his muscle size and strength.
