How is McCain doing on his fundraising?

Some of the news most of the time, 236.com, has some comments about McCain's (who they call the "angry old man") fundraising....

Hillary's campaign might have more debt than Wesleyan's class of 2009, but at least she knew how to raise some cash. While her campaign has sounded a call for much-needed donations, CNN reports that McCain has thus far raised less than half the donations of Clinton, and less than a third of Barack Obama. The McCain campaign has pulled in just over $80 million in total, while Clinton topped out at $194 million, and Obama pulled in a whopping $240 million to date. So what's John McCain have to do to get a little green?

It is pretty funny. Maybe McCain is being smart and lying low, and letting the Democrats implode. The pundits were more worried tonight about the democrats imploding from the infighting than they were for any real threat from McCain. If they spend most of their cash and time fighting each other, maybe they'll have less than $80 million left to use to fight McCain.
