Patents - what's a Patent ?
On November 5th, 2009 SalemCat (not verified) says:

Yeah, it's true.

Years ago, before my time (and I'm old), the American People went ga-ga about Inventions and Patents.

People milled around the Water Cooler talking about how much they'd like to INVENT something and be rich ! This is all gone. Now it's all Lottery talk.

Thomas Edison has been dead for a century, and much of America's enthusiasm for Inventions died with him.

Consumers no longer care about Patents, not even a little. There's just no Marketing reason to mention them. It's more than a little sad.

And as this article points out, the people making the big bucks today are not the Manufacturers who produce an honest product that improves people's lives. No, the profiteers are Lawyers who produce nothing but lawsuits that sap America's strength.

Frivolous Lawsuits and needless Regulations have driven America into a steep decline. China will prosper, and we are lost.
