- Money is the lifeblood of politics
House that Obama wanted to buy, but he didn't have the money for the house or the lot. But somehow he found the money anyhow, and someone else bought the lot next door, but then the lot somehow has become Obama's. There is a nasty political scandal over this. Hillary has brought out these issues, and was accused of being dirty. "Good for her. They should do that on both sides. Would that OBama would do some of that about Hilary.... There is a huge kickback scandal." Los Angeles mayor is a rising star, but was recently in a scandal because he is married but was having an affair with an anchor at a local television station.
The media is not doing their part to expose these things, because they want Obama to win.

- Reports about republicans not turning out in the same numbers in the past. There is a common complaint similar to her experience: Voted republican for last 30 years, went to vote in San Ramon, but what happened there made her angry: They gave her the papers, a long questionaire (ballot), she went into the booth, went back out to the people, said the page was missing for voting for the primary. They said it wasn't on her ballot. She said she was registered as a republican. They didn't offer to look her up.
- Barbara suggests calling the registrar of voters and register a complaint. Call information, and get the number of the registrar of voters, Steven Weir in this case in Martinez. Register the complaint about voting irregularities, and call back and let us know what happened.
- Barbara confirms other people having the same complaint. If a lot of people of complain, they will have to do something about this.
- The problem is just being upset and not doing something about it.
- They need to check the list to give you the proper ballot. And you have to complain if there is a problem.
Situation with the media and Obama
- He always says very general things, a little specific, but not really.
- Last week on this program, our guest, mentioned how Obama gave an interview to the french magazine paris match. In that interview for publication in Europe, he intends to hold a summit with muslim countries to better the image of the United States in the muslim world. "To have an honest discussion about how to bridge the gap that grows between Muslims and the west... I want to ask them to join our war on terrorism."
- Is he just young and naive? Or is there something we don't know.
- "We need to listen to their concerns", says Obama
- They don't like our churches, women, movies, military, nothing about us. "I will ask them, the leaders, to join us in battling terrorism. But we should also be willing to listen to some of their concerns."
- Obama lived in Muslim Indonesia for four years with Muslim mother and Muslim birth father. He doesn't get specific about his adult baptism into Christianity.

- This interview was not picked up in this country. "Mainstream media either didn't have it, or chose not to use it in our publications" to hide from us so we can know about it to have it affect our decisions. But the media is giving McCain much heat over his Mexico amnesty sympathetic advisor.

- Obama born of a jihadist father and step father. "The last thing we need is this guy as a president of the United States. It's ridiculous".

- Barbara: "I have said we need to investigate more into his religious roots. Did he go to a madrasas or not? Did he go to this school or not?" There is an islamic belief that if you are born to a muslim father, you are a muslim forever. A man put through a trial over this issue actually lost! If the muslims consider him one of theirs, what kinds of stresses and pulls will there be on him.
- Once born a muslim you are always a muslim. Barbara "That is their belief, you are not making that up."
There have been very good pieces on the internet about these kinds of things. A good essay yesterday, "Time for a Rude Awakening" in Daily News in New York, talking about what is happening with these Obama worshippers, this cult like thing building up about him. He is the "Pied Piper of Politics" everyone following blindly and not paying attentions.
"Global Poverty Act" would demand that the US president would develop a program to cut global poverty in half by 2015. A mandate. It was done secretly, based by the house of representatives last November, but did you hear about it? It was shoved through. God help us if Bush signs it. Go to "Accuracy in Media" and check it out. Supposedly it got through because the house members didn't know what was in it. The Senate foreign relations committee is who pushed it through. That committee shoved it through with no committee hearings.
