  • How to generate more blog posts, by Paula Neal Mooney – http://www.orble.com/blog-faster-make-more-money/ Ten ideas (with some comments by Garnet):
    • 1 - Learn to type
    • 2 - Learn hot keys, like ctrl-c, ctrl-x, ctrl-v - They are often quicker than using the mouse!
    • 3 - Learn some HTML (or learn wikitext if you're blogging into a wiki system like bobsgear!)
    • 4 - Organize your pictures for easy uploading into your posts
    • 5 - Learn your blogging platform (or your wiki software!)
    • 6 - Backup your posts - It's nice to keep your own copy of what you're posting onto someone else's service. And she didn't mention also backing up your own machine, so I will. Get a good software that can make easily restorable disaster recovery backups such as the product by Acronis.
    • 7 - Don't write everything yourself, use quotes with full credit given to the author
      • Paula mentions an interesting trick: Making a google alert on her name, so she is notified when new articles appear about her!
    • 8 - Get a decent internet connection (Cable internet works well)
    • 9 - Disable popup blockers if they interfer with features like "add image". - OR, tell your popup blocker to trust your blog site, so that it will still block popups on other sites.
    • 10 - Blog late and night or early in the morning - Apparently some blogging services are getting overloaded at other times of day.
