Does their work feed hundred of thousands of people whose crops would die with the slightest drought? yes. and with global warming on the rise as well as world population, it just might be their gmo's that allow us to survive. There is no proof that gmo food has any negative effects on the health of people the only negative effect that i have found online is possible economic effect due to the previously stated poor ethics of said company. Ill take an unethical corporation to millions dying of starvation. excuse my horrible typing. I have researched this issue, and I have found that the immediate negative effects of GM foods include:
- blood pressure increase in all the people who get upset about it,
- time spent protesting the issue,
- anxiety over unknowingly eating GM foods,
- stress and feelings of helplessness in the face of self proclaimed benevolent corporation,
- worry about unknonwn effects,
- time spent discussing this issue taking time away from relaxing by passively watching sitcoms and sports,
- increased consumption of high fructose corn syrup which compounds the same set of bad effects.
