80% of companies with over $100 million in sales have document retention policies.

Smaller companies are worried the most about compliance with regulations, evolving case law, and and statutory requirements.

Larger companies worry the most about electronic discovery.

A sanction for "failure to comply" in a regulatory matter, or in a court case, is likely to involve electronic evidence.
