I understand some of your frustration, but you need to understand where some of us are coming from in this discussion.
I teach Adventist College students in the areas of science and technology, and while one could wish that they would accept the Bible as we have been taught it, that is not going to happen.
Young people live in a world where they have been taught to question everything, and it is up to us as lecturers to provide a basis for their faith, and that is not an easy task. The discussion about origins on the SSNet is a place where we can explore our ideas with others.
One of the main aims of my teaching is to provide young people with a faith that is not easily knocked over by the arguments of those who disbelieve in God. That means that I need to understand those arguments and provide plausible responses to them.
Simply shouting louder that they should believe the Bible does not work. We have to provide a rationale and experience that is going to support them in their belief. Pray for those of us who are involved in this work.
