Tradestation online/offline status
You can not use TradeStation in offline mode for an extended period of time. After a couple of hours of being offline, you may get this warning:
  • The service has not been accessed for an extended period of time. To use the service in offline mode, you must first logon to verify the status of your service.
    I disconnected my computer from the net. About two hours later, when I reconnected to the net, I received this warning. I don't know how long the software will run if the computer stays disconnected.
    To be able to use extra copies of the software, Tradestation requires that you open additional accounts. The TradeStation software costs $100 a month, unless you are doing trades of 5000 shares a month.
