They called today trying to sell me on some kind of business scheme.

Daniel wasn't sure which was my first name, or my last name. I just said yes to whatever permutation he came up with. When he gave me his first name of Daniel, I asked for the rest of his name. Palmer he said. I asked if that was his first name.

Daniel started going on and on about how I'd signed up for a new business opportunity at their 3incomes.com website. What a bunch of bunk, I did no such thing, he was fishing hoping I generically sign up for such sites and would think it was something I'd looked into.

He starts going on and on about Michael Hillard and how he has four streams of income, and it's related ot his website 3incomes.com.

I asked if Michael Hilliard was an attorney, and Daniel said no.

So charging people for legal advice is not one of Michael's ways of making money? No.

What Michael Hilliard did was start four companies. Me: Oh so that's his skill? He starts companies? Daniel said yes.

So Daniel starts waxing eloquent about Michael Hilliard's four companies, and how he is going to share those methods of making money with me.

I asked him why would the guy have four streams of income, but have a website name that only talks about 3 of them?

He gave another number of 1-800-7143-3182 as a way to reach them, and that they make 2.5% of whatever money I'm bringing in. Oh, so his 5th stream of income is making money off me. So then I asked, if they have 5 streams of income, why is their website called 3incomes?

So anyhow, Michael the Genius had created a wonderful company that didn't involve me selling anything, or dealing with any products or anything else, except as it turns out I'd be advertising the products, dealing with irate auction customers, hoping that he could retain all the customers I sucker into going with his schemes, etc. Sounds like I'd be incredibly busy doing all the very things he said I didn't need to worry about.

So then he had me listen to an audio tape of Michael going on and on about his four wonderful companies. Daniel told me I was supposed to take notes on it during the call... At one point in the recording, the sound stopped, probably so they could check to see if I was still on the line.

I asked if I'd hear from Michael on the tape? Daniel assured me that Michael was one of the people on the tape.

Well, it turns out that I think Michael Hilliard was the only one on the tape. He's got several businesses he wants to get me involved in:

Some health care scheme
- He starts talking about how if I advertised his scheme to the world, I get a $20 commission every month from the people who sign up, and that he has a 90% retention rate every month. Hmmm... I wonder if a company that loses 10% of it's customers every month will stay in business very long.
Auction products
- They can supply with every imaginable product to sell. Except I don't have to stock the products, or ship them, or anything like that, they just give me my commissions on every product.
And two other businesses I can't remember.

During the audio I researched Michael Hillard sheriff booking log and discovered a sheriff's booking log that shows that Michael may have been in Mendocino (someone in their booking log called Hillard) and gotten himself arrested last May 29, 2006. When Daniel came back I asked where Michael lives, and Daniel said in Phoenix. I asked if Michael had been in Mendocino last May, how old was Michael? Maybe he has a brother who got booked?

So Daniel then goes into how the whole package of being in four businesses with Michael would be worth $2,000 if purchased separately. But I was going to get the whole package for $237, as a one time fee, with a 12 month moneyback guarantee. And Daniel would have his secretary create me a new myname.3incomes.com website, just as soon as she got back from lunch, if she wasn't already too busy, that is.

So where do you want us to mail your commission checks?, Daniel expectantly asked.

I asked Michael, "So I need to get a domain name? Or does your package come with a domain name? You're buying me a domain name?"

Daniel wasn't sure what I was asking, but after a pause, like a good salesman worried about losing the sale, he answered "Yeah" with several question marks.

He assured me I'd be chaney.3incomes.com.

Oh yeah, I just remembered one of the other "businesses". Michael's gonna make a website to offer people "New Mortgage Concept", something about a $500 commission on each one.

So then I asked Daniel who is Shamone? As in shamone.newauctionconcept.com Or shamone.newmortgageconcept.com Or shamone.3incomes.com

He claimed he didn't know about that, that he hadn't set my website up yet because I hadn't paid. I said that was website I ended up. He told me it wasn't possible for two people to share a website.

I asked him, "What about my uncles? They share a website." He didn't know how that could be possible. I asked if maybe that was because one was in New Jersey, and the other in Florida, maybe the problem was that California was too far awy for me to share Shamone's website?

So where do you want us to mail your commission checks?, Daniel expectantly asked.

I asked him how people would come to these websites?

Dan assured me that they had a whole advertising research team that would teach me how to advertise.

Asked them what auction site I'd use? They said any of them, and their site lists a whole bunch of them. I asked how I'd get people to buy from the auctions, and Dan said that is where his team would help.

They would teach me how to advertise on grocery store bulletin boards. Oh wow, that's definitely a path to riches! Wow, I can hardly wait.

So where do you want us to mail your commission checks?, Daniel continued to ask.

He assured me that ads on the bulletin board at Fry's Electronics could really get good results. I bet. From all the people wishing they didn't have to work there. I told Daniel how I'd heard the other day when I was at Fry's Electronics that they would be putting in a casino in the basement of their store near Lawrence Expressway. Some of the workers didn't even know there was a basement there, but they were talking about someone who read it in the paper how the Frye's casino would be open by Christmas time. Probably they need to jack up the store a little bit to put in the basement. Get a bum piece of equipment, and they demand that you take your refund in poker chips. They already have all the security cameras, money counting equipment and cages, to run a casino.

I asked him to tell me more about the products I'd be selling for the auction business. For example, would I be able to resell their underarm deodorant pads? Daniel wasn't sure, but they had a long list of every imaginable product, he assured me. I then asked, are they sure if they had under arm deodorant pads, I was pretty sure that was a niche market that might do well, I had been having trouble finding a good place to buy them from.

Daniel wasn't sure if they could supply me with under arm deodorant pads.

Then John Ellsworth came on the line. John said he was a supervisor, and he told me about his roll, and he wanted to know if he could answer any questions.

I asked him if he knew if they'd be able to supply me with underarm deoderant pads. He said his roll was to buy things, and before he could back track, I asked him if he was going to start buying underarm deodorant pads from my auctions, if they could supply them to me to sell, that is.

He continued to assure me that the list of things they had that I could sell was "virtually anything you can think of". I know, I took notes on that, many times.

I'd thought of a niche market I wanted to sell in, under arm deodorant pads. Surely their program would be well worth investing in if I could get into that niche market.

I asked him if there was a website I could go to that would show me the list of products they have for auction? He told me they'd discontinued that a long time ago, too many people were just asking questions.

Finally, it turns out he didn't even know what they have for a list of products. He didn't have the list handy.

Unfortunately, my call waiting interrupted me with a call from another telemarketer, so I had to put John and Daniel, and Michael, and their four streams of income going into 3incomes because of bulletin board advertising on grocery stores that now sell electronics while they plan to install a casino in the basement....

For some reason, John wasn't there waiting for me when I came back to his line. Darn.

Total time spent investigating their opportunity: 30 minutes

40 people isn't a lot to be trying to make money off of, especially if Daniel doesn't know who several of them are. I hope not too many people have fallen for his scheme.

Summary
Overpay $237 to get four flash websites exactly the same as everyone else who gets ripped off, and hope that you can find enough leads for Daniel to get your money back before the whole apparently ponzi scheme implodes.
