I don't know how far along the planning is for the Frye's Electronics casino and convention center project, but I wonder if they will be making changes to the Fry's return and exchange policy? I wonder if they will make you pass through the casino, past all the pai gow, poker, and blackjack tables, to get your refund? It will be interesting to see what other changes they make to the Frye's return policy.
If they can get people to leave their refund credits in the casino at the tables or in the slot machines, I wonder if they will try to get casinos installed in some of their other stores, like the Frye's store on Hamilton Avenue, or some of the Frye's Electronics down in Los Angeles?
I wonder if they will have baccarat, Frye's stores always did remind me of the baccarat part of the casino. Apparently several of their workers already have casino and card room experience, supposedly they will continue to wear the same black, white, and red uniforms.
Hopefully the changes they make will improve the refund process. They already have a reputation for selling expensive fujitsu devices without a refund. Some people consider it a scam they way they sell portable air conditioners, and then don't allow them to be returned. However, they apparently allow the return of laptops, I bought a box that supposedly had a laptop returned that day.
They could compete with Best Buy's return policy in terms of creative ways to return the customer's money.
BTW, it is Frye's Electronics, not "Freys Electronics", or "Frye Electronics".
