We have 33 entries for FlashCamp. I was called on to help judge the entries according to the Contest Categories:
- Coolest (I know, pretty subjective, but usually something jumps out at us)
- Best Open Source (all you have to do is publish your code)
- Best Use of Video (this one's obvious)
- Best of Mobile (a major opportunity, very few people targeting mobile here!)
- Best Student (gotta be in school right now)
- Most Educational (broadly defined, this is for anyone targeting students or teachers)
- Best Game (pretty obvious, but hotly contested)
- Helps Developers (this will go to the person with the most Helpful Tickets)
- Most Useful (again, fairly subjective, but also easy to judge once we see it)
- Honorable Mention (for that app or design that doesn't fit any category, or a good runner-up)
