Chat transcript with Fujitsu to find out why the screen kept flipping upside down after coming out of hibernate.

Please wait while we find an agent to assist you...
You have been connected to Oliver .
Oliver : Hi Garnet! How may I help you?
Garnet : Two items... One, i tried to go to the chat support form from my fujitsu U810. But your prechatCustomerSupportrm.html has so many fields on it, and no scroll bar, that it is impossible to click the "chat Now" button.
Garnet : The "chat now" button is below what can be displayed in one screen.... Ooops!
Oliver : Im sorry hear that sir
Garnet : The real reason for my support request: i have installed a fresh copy of Windows XP on my U810. I have downloaded and installed all the drivers. But I am having one problem.
Oliver : And what is that sir?
Garnet : I frequently close the screen for hibernation. When I open the screen, I get the Windows XP login screen, and the configuration is normal. I type in my password, and when the XP desktop is then displayed, the screen flips upside down. I have to press the display button for rotating the screen twice to get the screen back into the proper rotation. How can I fix this?
Oliver : hold on while i check on this
Garnet : I am almost always using the machine like a small notebook computer, with the keyboard, and almost never with the screen twisted and folded down like a tablet.
Oliver : may i have your number and complete address pls
Garnet : 415-902-3258
Garnet : 530 Alameda Del Prado #301 * Novato, CA 94949 * USA
Oliver : Thank you for waiting Garnet
Oliver : have you tried going to the control panel?
Garnet : What would you like me to try in the control panel?
Oliver : Go to intel gma driver and put the settings to normal
Garnet : would that be control panel -> display -> settings -> advanced ?
Garnet : then IGMA -> graphics properties?
Oliver : no
Oliver : go to control panel
Oliver : choose intel GMA driver for mobile then cllick on it
Garnet : ok, i see the control panel applet for igma... where is the tab for setting to normal?
Oliver : go to rotation tab
Oliver : then choose normal
Garnet : display settings? There is no setting for normal.... there is "enable rotation" and 4 choices for degrees, which is set to 0 currently. enable rotation is checked.
Oliver : are you using a vista?
Garnet : no, as I said above, I instaleld a scopy of Windows XP. It is the tablet edition.
Garnet : Windows vista is much too slow on this machine.
Oliver : okay i understand
Oliver : are you on the INTEL GMA application?
Garnet : yes
Oliver : okay
Oliver : hold on while i get a tablet edition
Oliver : thank you
Oliver : Garnet try going to fujitsu tablet controls
Oliver : on control panel
Garnet : ok
Garnet : enable is checked for undocked notebook profile, undocked taet profile, docked nobook rofile, docked tablet profile.
Oliver : your at the display tab?
Garnet : yes
Oliver : try checking the first 3 tabs and save to current profile
Garnet : they are checked already.... So I should uncheck the fourth wich is "enable docked tablet profile"?
Oliver : okay
Oliver : then save current profile
Garnet : ok, closing the screen to hibernate.
Garnet : opening the screen to wake it up...
Oliver : okay
Garnet : logging in
Garnet : good so far....
Garnet : Impressive! Thank you very much! Problem fixed. Great!
Oliver : your always welcome
Garnet : BTW, Vista was no where near this quick....
