Dr. Phil Schappert PhD, is the editor of several butterfly journals, including the News of Lepidopterists' Society, and has written many magazine articles and scientific papers about butterflies and their host plants. He is the author of A World for Butterflies. He is a professor, and world recognized lepidopterist, at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of The Last Monarch Butterfly. Originally from Canada, Schappert is a charter member of the North American Butterfly Association.
